About Us

Life Coach Mental Training: Mental training is just as important as physical training. Being a highly qualified life coach I can help you build a positive mindset, set achievable goals, manage stress, and develop strategies to overcome challenges. I basically provide guidance and support to help you achieve your personal and fitness aspirations.

Mindset Shift: As a life coach I can also help you identify and change negative thought patterns and beliefs that might be holding you back.

Goal Setting: I will assist you in setting clear and achievable goals, both short-term and long-term. I will help you break down large goals into smaller, manageable steps, keeping you focused and motivated along the way.

Stress Management: Learning effective stress management techniques is crucial for maintaining overall well-being. A life coach can teach you strategies to cope with stress, such as deep breathing, mindfulness, time management, and creating healthy boundaries.

Confidence Building: We help you recognise your strengths and achievements, boosting your self-confidence. Ill provide support as you work towards building a stronger sense of self-worth and self-esteem.

Overcoming Obstacles: As a life coach I shall assist you in identifying and overcoming obstacles that are preventing you from reaching your potential. I will also guide you through problem-solving and finding creative solutions.

Emotional Resilience: With this I will help you develop emotional resilience, which involves adapting well to stress, adversity, and challenges. You’ll learn how to bounce back from setbacks and maintain a positive outlook.

Fitness Instructor: Nick Taylor is both a fitness instructor and a personal trainer. I’m a trained professional who guides you through exercises, ensuring you perform them correctly and safely. I can create customised workout plans, provide motivation, and offer expert advice on reaching your fitness goals.

Fitness Goals: Setting fitness goals is essential to track your progress and stay motivated. Whether it’s running a certain distance, lifting a certain weight, or improving your overall health, having clear goals helps you stay focused and determined. Here at Nick’s personal training we always set difficult but achievable goals, this helps strengthen the body and mind at the same time.

Fitness Plan: A fitness plan outlines your goals, the type of exercises you’ll do, how often you’ll work out, and how you’ll track progress. It helps you stay organised and consistent in your fitness journey. I will be pushing and encouraging you all the way, I will never set goals that we can not reach!

Types of Fitness Training I offer: There are various types of fitness training we explore, including:

Cardiovascular (Cardio) Training: Activities like running, cycling, and swimming that improve your heart and lung health
Strength Training: Using weights or bodyweight exercises to build muscle and increase strength.
Flexibility Training: Activities like yoga or stretching to improve flexibility and mobility.
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT): Short bursts of intense exercises followed by rest periods for efficient fat burning and fitness improvement.
Functional Training: Exercises that mimic real-life movements, enhancing everyday activities and preventing injuries.
CrossFit: High-intensity workouts involving varied functional movements for overall fitness.
I offer all of these to suit my client, after a chat and a conciliation I will decide which fitness path we take.

Nutrition for Training: Proper nutrition is crucial for fueling your workouts and supporting recovery. A balanced diet rich in lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals provides the energy your body needs. I have tremendous knowledge when it comes to building a nutritional plan, so I will create a personalised eating plan based on your fitness goals whether to lose weight, gain muscle or for stamina or maybe running a marathon.

Sports Massage: Sports massages are designed to help athletes recover from intense workouts, reduce muscle soreness, and improve circulation. I dont offer this service anymore yet im fully trained, but im happy to share my knowledge and understanding of the bodies mechanics, I can then advise you which treatements would benefit our training plan and your bodies wellbeing.
